Not a Patient

Air

 Air is the most important nutrient to your body. Without it you will die in about 4 minutes.  The key is regular deep inhalation and exhalation of pure air.

Water

Water is the second most important nutrient to your body. If you go 4 days without it you risk death. The keys are to drink the proper amount of water and have the water you drink be pure. 

Abstain

It may seem silly to say it out loud but if you engage in things that harm you, your body will wear out faster. The key is to abstain from sin, toxins, and foolishness.

Rest

Rest allows your body to regenerate. That’s the cool thing about your body…it can, and does heal itself. You just need to give it what it needs. The key is to sleep at least 5 hours and no more than 8 hours every night.

Exercise

Exercise increases resiliency to all the stressors of life. Engage regularly in the three major types of exercise: cardiovascular, muscular and flexibility.

Nutrition

Nutrition is the process by which your body gets the building blocks it needs for everything from growth to healing to happiness. The key is to feed your cells by taking in nourishing foods and supplements.

Education

Congrats you’ve started this one already by reading this far. Zeal without wisdom is foolishness. The key is to educate yourself regarding truth.

Sunshine

Sunshine is useful in several of your body’s processes. It affects everything from your circadian rhythm to your mood and in this day of florescent lights and sunscreen we don’t get enough. The key is to get as much skin exposed to as much sunshine as possible without getting burned. 

Support

We are creatures in community. Don’t try to go this road alone and don’t try to swim against the tide. Surround yourself with people and resources that will help you, not hinder you. (Yes, this means you should stop hanging out with your McDonald’s buddy. Sorry man.)
